The MegaDrive Vertical Series from California Lightworks is designed to operate with their MegaDrive remote power supplies, available in 400, 600, or 800 watts, depending on the grow space requirements. Like all their fixtures, these units do not have any drivers in or around the fixtures, eliminating the need for drivers under the shelves or above the fixtures. All cabling is waterproof and runs back to the power supply, which can be mounted in another room next to the electrical panel. This setup removes heat from the grow room and extends the life of sensitive electronics.
The design allows for closer positioning to the top of the shelf, maximizing usable space under each shelf. Each fixture features digital two-channel spectrum control, supporting various growth phases including propagation, veg, pre-flower, flower, and final finishing. They are water-sealed and eliminate the need for power drops on the shelves, conduit, or contactor panels. The system is controlled digitally, with automated sunrise and sunset routines built in. The low-cost controllers come with the MegaDrive system and can manage systems from four lights up to 2,000 lights.
California Lightworks provides comprehensive support including computerized light plans and custom cable plans, ensuring easy installation. The electrician simply connects the power supply to the electrical panel, making the setup straightforward and efficient.
