# What are the best LED grow lights for growing in a greenhouse?

 

When shopping for LED grow lights for a greenhouse, it is important to select lights specifically designed for greenhouse use, rather than indoor or general-purpose lights. These lights should create minimal shadow effects, so long linear fixtures are often preferred as they can be hung on existing trusses with minimal shading. Additionally, the lights need to be highly water and dust-proof to withstand harsh environmental conditions and ensure durability year after year. It is also crucial to consider the drivers, which are the most sensitive part of the LED lighting system. For example in our Megadrive system, the drivers do not need to be located in the greenhouse which can significantly extend the lifespan of the LED system.
