When our sales team quotes a Megadrive fixture, the price includes:
- The fixture
- The Megadrive power supply
- Custom-cut cords to chain the lights to the Megadrive
- Hanging brackets
California Lightworks controls can be purchased separately, customers can also use any third party control system capable of sending out a syncing type 0-10V output signal.
It's important to note that traditional lighting fixtures often come with additional costs beyond the fixture itself, such as electrical labor, conduits, cables, and GFCI outlets. In contrast, the Megadrive system includes everything needed to power up the lights within the fixture's cost. The only electrical labor required is for an electrician to connect the cable from the Megadrive power supply to the main power circuit. Since the lights are powered by the Megadrive, there is no need for individual power outlets or conduits for each fixture.
